Being the leader my family needs
Started reading about servant leadership and it hit different than the domineering stuff I grew up with. My dad ran the household with an iron fist and I hated it. I want my kids to respect me but through integrity and example, not fear. Any guys here trying to lead like that? Feels old school but actually new school at the same time.
This resonates with me man. I grew up with the old school "my way or the highway" dad too and I swore I'd be different. Servant leadership sounds like what actually works - leading by example instead of just barking orders. How did you start learning about this stuff?
