Being the leader of your household isn't about control
Had someone tell me that wanting to be the head of my household was outdated thinking. But to me leadership means responsibility, making sure my family is secure, taking care of my wife, teaching my kids right from wrong. It's not about being a tyrant it's about being reliable and strong. Feel like that message gets lost these days. Who else still believes in this?
People throw around that outdated line too easily these days. There's nothing wrong with taking responsibility for your family's wellbeing and direction. That's just good parenting.
