Being the leader your family needs
I read something that said a man's job is to lead his family with purpose and integrity. That stuck with me. It doesn't mean being a dictator or making all the decisions. It means being the guy your wife and kids can count on, making tough calls when needed, taking responsibility when things go wrong instead of making excuses. My father did this and it gave me a sense of stability as a kid. I'm trying to do the same. But modern culture seems to push against this idea of male leadership. Anyway, I believe it matters.
This really resonates with me. I think leading with purpose means showing up consistently, even when it's hard. Some days that just means being present at the dinner table instead of checking my phone.
