Being the rock for your family when things get hard
My wife's been dealing with a lot of stress at work and honestly our youngest has been sick for two weeks straight. Some days I feel like I'm running on fumes between work and taking care of everything at home. But that's what a man does, right? You step up, you don't complain, you handle your responsibilities. My grandfather used to say a real man is measured by how he acts when nobody's watching. Been thinking about that a lot lately. How do you guys keep yourself together when life's throwing everything at you at once?
Amen to this. When my wife's stressed and my kid is sick at the same time I feel like I'm juggling chainsaws. You're doing the right thing showing up for them.
The youngest being sick on top of work stress would break me. You're basically handling everything alone while keeping everyone calm. That takes real strength man.
