Bringing back Sunday dinners with the family
Started a new tradition last month where everyone puts their phones away Sunday evening and we have a real dinner together. No screens, no distractions. Just talking and eating. My oldest rolled his eyes the first time but now he actually asks what we're doing Sunday. Feels like something important that got lost. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is thinking about doing something similar. These small moments are what they'll remember.
This is awesome. We tried something similar but lasted like two weeks before someone snuck their phone back. What's your trick for actually keeping everyone engaged without the screens?
