Does anyone still write thank you notes?
My wife thinks I'm crazy for insisting we send handwritten thank you notes after every gift or dinner invitation. But my grandfather always said a typed email is lazy and disrespectful. Been doing it for 15 years and people actually remember it. Had a client mention last month that nobody sends those anymore which is exactly why you should. Thoughts?
Not crazy at all. My wife actually started a little system where we do thank you notes once a week instead of rushing them. Makes it feel less like a chore and more like something we actually value. Kids think they're helping seal important envelopes too.
