Dress code matters - even for kids
Took my boys to Sunday service in their khakis and polos today. You could see the respect in how people greeted them. Too many kids running around in those athletic shorts and t shirts looking like they just rolled out of bed. A man takes pride in his appearance. I don't care what's trendy or comfortable, there's a right way to present yourself. Start them young with standards.
I appreciate the message here but I'd push back a little - my son feels just as respected in jeans and a t-shirt if he's confident and happy. That said, there's definitely something to be said for dressing up for special occasions.
