Dress codes are coming back and I'm here for it
My company just rolled out a business casual policy that's actually business casual now, not just casual with a polo. Slacks, button ups, ties on Fridays. I've been saying this for years. When you dress like you're going somewhere, you act like it. My kids see me getting ready in the morning in real clothes instead of gym shorts. There's something to be said about maintaining standards. Feels good to work somewhere that gets it.
Same, there's something about dressing the part that makes you feel more intentional about your day. Plus the kids notice when dad looks sharp.
