Dressing for success and being the example
Been reading a lot lately about how what you wear affects how you carry yourself and how others perceive you. I've started wearing a proper button up shirt and slacks to my home office even though nobody sees me. Sounds silly but I swear it changes my mindset and work ethic. My kids notice too. They see dad takes pride in how he presents himself even when he's alone. That's the kind of standard I want them to inherit.
There's a balance though between dressing well and overthinking it. You want your kids to see you take care of yourself not stress about appearances.
