Hard truth about being the head of household

Been thinking about this a lot lately. When you're the leader of your family you don't get to just opt out when things get hard. You don't get to check your phone during important conversations. You don't get to take the easy way out when a decision needs to be made. Your wife and kids are looking to you to set the tone. That's a privilege but it's also a burden and frankly most men today aren't stepping up to it. We've bought into this idea that traditional responsibility is outdated. It's not. It's more important than ever.
