Saw Bob out front trying to fix his fence in the heat and I just went over with cold water and my tools. Didn't make a big deal about it, just said I had some time. Got it done in a couple hours and we didn't talk much but he knew what it meant. That's what community used to be. That's what it should still be.
This is it right here. Shows your kids what showing up for people actually looks like, no need to talk about it.
