How do you teach respect for women in 2024?
I want to raise my boys to treat women with dignity and respect without making them afraid to be men. Teaching them to hold doors, pay for dates, stand when a lady enters the room. My wife thinks some of it is old fashioned but I believe there's nothing wrong with having standards. How are you all approaching this with your kids?
Same boat here with two kids. I tell them respect isn't about being weak or overly cautious, it's about being the kind of man you'd want your daughter dating someday. They get it pretty quick when you frame it that way.
