Is it still worth learning to tie a proper tie?

My son asked me why I care about wearing a necktie the right way and doing a full Windsor knot. Told him it's not about the tie, it's about showing up to things that matter with intention and respect. You do the small things right because they reflect how you carry yourself. He actually listened instead of rolling his eyes for once.

Honestly showing him how to tie a proper Windsor knot is a better life lesson than most things we teach them. Teach him to care about the details.

Tell your son that doing things the right way matters even when nobody's watching. That's what being a gentleman is about. The tie is just the symbol.
