Lead by example not by being loud
Real leadership isn't about commanding a room or being the loudest voice. My dad taught me that a real man leads quietly through his actions and integrity. At work I don't need to prove anything or raise my voice. I show up prepared, I follow through, I treat everyone from the janitor to the CEO with the same respect. That's how you earn respect and loyalty. Seems like everyone's trying to be alpha male all the time when what we really need is more men who just do the right thing quietly.
Your dad sounds like a smart man. So many guys mistake being a leader with being the guy who talks the most. Real leadership is listening, showing up, and letting your actions prove your point. That's the kind of example that actually sticks with kids.
