Leading by Example at Home
My old man always said a man's word is his bond. Been trying to live that with my kids. When I tell them I'll be somewhere at 6, I'm there at 5:55. When I mess up, I own it and apologize. They're watching everything we do, whether we realize it or not. Leadership starts at home, not in the boardroom. If we want our sons to be men of integrity, we've got to show them what that looks like day after day. What's one principle you're really focused on passing down?
Exactly this. Kids are like lie detectors. You can't fake it. If you say you're going to do something then you have to do it or they learn that your word doesn't mean anything. That's the stuff that shapes who they become as adults.
