Leading your family the right way
Been thinking about this a lot as my kids get older. I'm the head of the household not because I'm mean about it but because I take responsibility. I make the hard calls, I provide, I set the standard for how we conduct ourselves. My wife respects it, my kids follow my lead. It's not about being domineering, it's about being someone people can trust to steer the ship right. How many guys your age still actually lead their families or has that become uncool?
Head coach here for 6 years and I've learned that leading by example matters way more than anything you say. The kids watch everything you do. Being the head of household is about setting the tone and showing up consistently.
