Been reading some older books on leadership and family and it hit me that being the head of household doesn't mean being a dictator. It means setting the example, making the hard decisions, and putting your family's needs before your own. That's what my grandfather did and it shaped everything about who I am. Trying to live that same way with my kids.
I keep it simple: do what I say I'm going to do and treat my kids with respect. That's the leadership that matters to me.
