Money talk with teenage son

Started having real conversations with my 16 year old about finances, earning, and responsibility. Told him the days of just getting an allowance are over. If he wants spending money, he needs to work for it. Been teaching him about saving, investing a little, understanding that money represents your labor and time. His grandpa did this for me and it shaped how I handle money as an adult. Guys, if we don't teach our sons these things, who will?
