My dad's watch and what it taught me

Found my old man's Omega in a box after he passed. Wore it every day for a year before I decided to pass it to my oldest. Not because I didn't want it, but because that's what he would've done. There's something about understanding that some things are meant to be handed down, not kept. Been thinking about what I want to pass down besides material stuff. My kids need to see that a man's word is his bond and that taking care of your family comes before everything else. That watch will remind them their grandfather was reliable and their father is too.
