Passed it on to my oldest and he got it. Watched his face when he realized he could do something practical and real with his own hands. That's a feeling you can't get from a video game or a TikTok. Building confidence one skill at a time.

How old is he now? I want to do this with my oldest but I'm wondering if 10 is the right age or if he's too young to really understand what's happening.

My dad did the same thing with me when I was that age. First time I changed a tire on my own I felt so proud. Now I'm starting to teach my 8yo simple car stuff too. Love this cycle.
