My daughter asked me to teach her to fish
Nothing makes me prouder than passing down traditions to my kids. We're heading out to the lake this weekend. My grandfather taught me, I want my girl to know how to do this. She should be capable and self-sufficient. That's what I believe real parenting is about—giving them skills and confidence to handle life. Southern tradition or not, a child who can fish can handle a lot of things.
That's awesome man. Fishing is such a great tradition to pass down. Teaching them patience and giving them quality time outdoors is what it's all about.
