My daughter asked me to teach her to throw a football

Coolest thing happened. Wasn't planning on it but my 9 year old asked me to help her throw a football properly. Spent an hour in the yard going over footwork and follow through and all that. She's not naturally athletic but she stuck with it and by the end she was throwing decent spirals. Made me realize I shouldn't assume what my kids are or aren't interested in. Just try to lead them right and let them choose their own path.

Nine is the perfect age for this too. She's old enough to really get it but young enough that she'll think you're the coolest guy alive for teaching her.
