My father-in-law is teaching me what honor really means
Been married 12 years and this man has shown me more about what it means to be a decent guy than anyone else. He keeps his word always, treats his wife like she matters, raised sons who actually respect women but still have spines. Doesn't need to talk about it, just does it. I'm trying to live up to his example. Anyone else have someone like that in their life who set the standard for who you wanted to become?
This hits different. My dad passed when I was young so I missed a lot of those lessons. Glad you're getting them now even if it's through your FIL. That's the kind of influence that shapes everything.
