My father's watch
My old man passed two years ago and I inherited his Omega. Wore it for the first time at my daughter's wedding last weekend. Had more men come up to me and ask about it than I expected. What struck me was how many of them talked about their own fathers and grandfathers. I realized that day how much responsibility I have to pass down these values and these traditions to my kids. Not just the watch, but what it represents. Hard work, integrity, showing up.
Two years isn't that long but I imagine that felt like a milestone moment. Your kids will understand the weight of that watch someday. Those are the heirlooms that matter.
