My Grandfather's Watch and What It Means

Got my grandfather's pocket watch after he passed. Thing still keeps perfect time after 60 years. I've been thinking about what to do with it. My first instinct was to wear it or display it. But then I realized maybe the honor is in passing it on to my son when he's ready. Grandfather passed it to my dad at 16 when he became a man in the family's eyes. Makes me think about what we leave behind and what traditions actually mean. Not just the object but the weight of carrying something important forward. Anyone else have family pieces like this?
