Separated 6 months ago, got my kids every other weekend. I'm staying strong for them but some days are hard. Making sure I show up on time, keep my word, and be the stable rock they can count on. Not badmouthing their mother even though I have every reason to. I dress well when I pick them up, take them to real places, teach them things. My 14 year old daughter told me last week she's proud of me and man that hit different. Just trying to be the example of manhood that my parents showed me. If anyone's been through this, any advice appreciated.

You're already doing the hardest part by showing up on time every single time. My son and I have our F1 race days together and that consistency means everything to him, even when life is messy. Those hard days don't erase what you're building.
