Old school dads, what are you teaching your kids?

Firm handshake. Look people in the eye. Say yes sir and yes ma'am. Be the first one to work and the last one to leave. Keep your word no matter what it costs you. These are the things my father taught me and I'm passing them on. Too many kids these days don't know how to introduce themselves or take pride in their work. My 14 year old mows yards in the neighborhood and does a better job than guys twice his age. That's what happens when you give a kid real responsibility and expect excellence.
