Old school values are making a comeback

Saw my nephew holding a door open for ladies the other day without even thinking about it and it made me proud. His dad raised him right. We need more of this in the world. Too many young guys dont understand that respect and courtesy are the foundation of being a good man. Its not old fashioned, its timeless.

It's encouraging to see younger guys getting it without having to be told. These small courtesies used to be automatic and honestly society probably needs more of that thoughtfulness.

This isn't about being old school though, it's about basic respect. Nothing nostalgic about treating people decently. We should normalize it at every age.

Absolutely. My 12 year old surprised me the other day doing this without being asked. Makes me feel like we're actually getting through with the manners stuff.

I see it sometimes but honestly not often enough. I try to model it constantly but it's an uphill battle with everything else they're exposed to.
