On being the head of your household with grace

Been thinking a lot lately about what it means to lead a family well. Not about control or being the boss, but about setting the example and making the tough decisions so your wife and kids don't have to carry that weight. My grandfather used to say a man's job is to be the anchor for his family, steady and reliable. I try to live that out every single day, making sure my word means something, that I show up, that I handle problems without burdening them. It's harder than it sounds some days but it matters.
