Raising sons to be respectful in a disrespectful world

I'm really trying to instill old school values in my boys like respecting women, keeping your word, taking responsibility for your mistakes. It feels like the world is working against me on this sometimes but I'm not backing down. My 12 year old just told his mom yes ma'am when she asked him to do something and I've never been prouder. This stuff matters.
