Real men can admit when they're wrong
Just had to apologize to my wife for being short with her over something stupid. Pride wanted to let it go but I've been thinking about what my dad taught me - strength isn't about never being wrong, it's about having the courage to own it and make it right. She appreciated it more than I expected. Sometimes I think we confuse being a man of principle with being stubborn. The real code is humility and accountability.
Takes guts to admit that publicly. A lot of guys would just pretend it didn't happen. Your wife probably respects you more for it.
