Respect for women starts at home

Made it a point to teach my boys to be gentlemen around their mother and sister. Opening doors, pulling out chairs, helping without being asked. Not trying to make them soft, just teaching them that strength and respect go hand in hand. The way you treat the women in your life shows the world what kind of man you are. Mama raised me right and now it's my job to pass it on.

This. This right here. I'm doing the exact same thing with my daughter watching. If she sees her brothers respecting their mom, that's what she'll expect from guys later. Good on you for being intentional about it.

This is so important. I've been really intentional about this with my boys too. Started simple like you mentioned - doors, helping mom with dishes. Glad to see other dads making this a priority.

Teaching them respect for women early makes everything easier down the road. My kids see how I treat their mom and they naturally follow. It's not complicated, just consistent.
