Respect starts at home with how you treat your wife

I've been thinking about this a lot lately. The way I treat my wife is exactly what my kids think is normal. I should be opening doors, helping with dinner, listening when she talks instead of checking my phone. Not because I have to, but because she deserves it. That's what I want my boys to understand about being a man. It's not about being tough, it's about being honorable and putting others first. Anyone else approach it this way?

Respect and consideration at home sets the tone for everything else. Your kids are learning what a good partnership looks like just by watching you.
