Respect your mother - no matter what

Had to shut down my oldest yesterday for talking back to his mom. Doesn't matter if she was wrong about something, doesn't matter if he thinks he has a point. You don't speak to a woman, especially your mother, with disrespect. Told him to go to his room and we talked about it later when we were both calm. These are the things that seem to matter less now but they're everything. A man protects and respects the women in his life, period.
