Standing up for what's right even when it costs you
Had a situation at work where my boss wanted me to cut corners on a project. Not illegal but definitely not right. Told him I couldn't do it. Thought I might lose my job honestly. Turns out he respected me more for it and we found a better way to do it anyway. Sometimes doing the hard thing is the only thing. My grandfather used to say your word is all you really have.
Did your boss come around or are you still dealing with the fallout? Either way you made the right call. Kids remember how their dads handle adversity.
