My office went casual a few years back but I still wear a proper shirt and slacks most days. You'd be surprised how much respect you get just from looking like you care about your appearance. Sets the tone for how people interact with you. My old man always said your clothes are the first thing you say about yourself before you ever open your mouth. Still rings true.
