Taking care of your family is non-negotiable
Been working 50+ hour weeks for the past month but my wife needed me home more because she's dealing with some health stuff. Cut my hours back and rearranged my schedule. Money matters but family comes first, always. That's the deal I made when I got married. Providers take care of their people. It's what men do. If your job won't give you flexibility for family stuff, that tells you something about where their priorities are at.
Real talk right here. A lot of guys try to separate work and family like they're not connected but they absolutely are. Taking care of your family IS the work sometimes.
