Taking care of your family's finances like a man should
I realized last week I've been dropping the ball on life insurance and proper estate planning. My grandfather always said a man provides, and that means thinking about what happens if you're not around. Met with a financial advisor yesterday and it was humbling but necessary. Got my will updated, got the right coverage in place, and had that hard conversation with my wife about finances. It's not romantic or exciting but it's what real responsibility looks like. Who else here takes this seriously?
Real talk though, this stuff matters more than people admit. Your family depends on you getting this right. Estate planning especially gets pushed to the back burner when you're in the thick of parenting.
