Taking responsibility for my mistakes at work

Made a big error on a project that affected the whole team. Instead of making excuses, I walked into my boss's office and told him straight up it was my fault, what I did wrong, and how I'd fix it. He appreciated me owning it. A real man doesn't blame others or make excuses. You do the work, you admit when you mess up, and you move forward better than before. That's how you build trust and integrity.
