Teaching my boy how to shake a hand properly

Been working with my 12 year old on his handshake, eye contact, and how to introduce himself to adults. Might sound old fashioned but these things matter. Took him to a networking event with me and watched him talk to some business guys. He walked away with two job shadowing offers. That's the kind of stuff that builds a man's character and confidence.

Eye contact and a firm handshake open a lot of doors for kids down the line. You're setting him up right.

Not old fashioned at all man, this stuff matters. My kids are still learning this and I wish I'd started earlier. Good on you for being intentional about it.
