Teaching my boy to be a man

Had a talk with my 12 year old about respect, honoring your word, and standing up for what's right even when it's hard. He got embarrassed but I think it stuck. My dad did the same for me and I'm not breaking that chain. These lessons matter more than video games or whatever else is out there.
