Had my 8 year old meet my boss at the company picnic last weekend. Kid gave him one of those limp fish handshakes and I about died. Spent the whole drive home talking about firm grip, eye contact, and saying sir/ma'am. My old man did the same with me and I'm grateful for it. These small things matter. A handshake tells people who you are before you even open your mouth. Anyone else making sure their kids understand this stuff?

Ha, the limp fish handshake! My oldest did the same thing and I had to pull him aside and show him how to actually grip. It's such a small thing but makes a real difference.
