Teaching my boys about keeping their word
Had a conversation with my oldest today about the importance of a handshake and following through on promises. In this world where everyone's cutting corners and making excuses, I want my sons to be the kind of men people can actually trust. If you say you're going to do something, you do it. Period. No explanations, no excuses. That's how my old man raised me and that's what I'm passing down. A man's word should mean something.
This is the stuff that actually makes a difference. Doesn't cost anything but it sets them apart from so many other people out there
