Been working with my sons on the basics lately. A handshake says everything about a man. I make sure they look a person in the eye, grip firm but not aggressive, and hold it for just long enough. My oldest is 12 and finally getting it down. You can see the difference when we meet someone and he does it right versus when he's nervous. It builds confidence. These little things matter. Part of becoming a man is showing respect through how you carry yourself.

Absolutely right on this one. My oldest is finally understanding that a handshake and eye contact opens doors. It's such a simple thing but it shows respect and confidence. Keep drilling it in.
