Teaching my son to be a man - where do I start?
I want to make sure I'm raising my boy right. Not just in the obvious ways like respecting women and working hard, but the smaller things too. How he shakes a hand, how he carries himself, taking responsibility for his mistakes without making excuses. My own dad taught me these things but it's harder now with everything else competing for his attention. What are the fundamentals you guys focus on with your boys?
Start with the everyday stuff. How he treats people when things don't go his way, how he handles losing, whether he's willing to do work even when nobody's watching. That's manhood in the real world, not the highlight reel version.
