Teaching my son to be a real man in today's world
My boy is 13 now and I want to make sure he grows up with good values. We go hunting together, he's learning to fish, and I'm teaching him how to work on cars. I also want him to understand that being a man means taking responsibility, treating people with respect especially women, and not being afraid to show emotion when it's appropriate. The world is different from when I grew up but the fundamentals of honor and integrity should still matter. Anyone else trying to pass this stuff down?
Hunting trips are the best. My oldest is still a bit young but I'm looking forward to that phase. How old was he when you started taking him?
