Teaching my son to give a firm handshake and look people in the eye

Started noticing my 12 year old has this habit of looking down when he talks to adults. So I've been working with him on this. We practice handshakes, we talk about what it means to really look someone in the face when you're speaking. Not in a creepy way but with confidence and respect. His soccer coach mentioned last week that he seems more engaged now. It's one of those old school things that actually matters. A good handshake and eye contact tells people a lot about your character before you ever say a word.
