Teaching My Son to Shake a Man's Hand Properly

Been working with my 8 year old on his handshake. Firm grip, eye contact, say the man's name back to him. My dad taught me this and I'm passing it down. It's these small things that separate boys from men. Took him to my buddy's house last weekend and watched him introduce himself properly to his dad. Made me proud as hell. Anyone else drilling this into their kids early?

That's real legacy stuff right there. Teaching him the handshake, the eye contact, the whole nine yards. My dad did the same with me and now I'm doing it with my kids. It's those little things that stick with them forever.
