Teaching my son to shake hands properly
Been working with my 8-year-old on his handshake lately. Firm grip, eye contact, good posture. He's finally getting it. Went to church last Sunday and he shook hands with the pastor like a young man instead of a limp fish. My dad nodded at me during the service. Small thing but it matters. These basics are disappearing.
Love this. We're doing the same with our youngest. It's funny how something so basic can actually make a real difference in how people respond to your kid. Firm grip, looking someone in the eye - that's respect right there.
