Been working with my 8-year-old on his handshake lately. Firm grip, eye contact, good posture. He's finally getting it. Went to church last Sunday and he shook hands with the pastor like a young man instead of a limp fish. My dad nodded at me during the service. Small thing but it matters. These basics are disappearing.
That's awesome you're teaching him those fundamentals early. Those little moments of pride when they nail something you've been working on with them are the best. Bet he was feeling himself at church.
