Teaching my son to shake hands properly
Been working with my 8 year old on a firm handshake and looking people in the eye. His baseball coach noticed and mentioned it to me after practice. That's the kind of thing that sticks with a man for life. It's not about being tough, it's about showing respect and character from day one. My dad taught me this same way and I'm passing it down. Any other dads here making sure their boys know how to present themselves properly?
This is so important. I've been doing the same thing with my boys. The handshake and eye contact stuff sounds small but it opens doors for them later. Did his coach comment on the improvement?
